Greetings, Dancers!

As many of you know, I started writing NYDS way back in March of 1997 when David Wilson of DanceArt.com saw my byline in Dance Magazine and invited me to become a columnist on his site. That was before the words "blog" and "blogger" had even been coined! Then in 2008, when the DanceArt.com message boards migrated to Dance.com, NYDS and I went along and I became a Featured Blogger. However, Dance.com is now down and DanceArt.com has been reborn. I'm thrilled to be back home there in order to continue bringing you my intermittent, occasionally irreverent, and always passionate ruminations about the goings on around the Dance Mecca of the World, NYC!
